I’ve been studying Buck & Yacktman’s Cocoa Design Patterns, and thought it would be good to blog about my efforts, sharing what I’ve figured out, and getting comments from other developers, from newbies needing help to experienced Cocoa developers giving advice.
The blog’s name comes from the machine I use, a Mac Mini. I’m upgrading to a laptop shortly, but plan on keeping the name.
I’ve been dabbling in Cocoa off and on for a few years now. Besides doing examples from various books, I’ve developed a couple of applications: an HTML editor with preview and an bug tracker. I’ve gotten some good advice and help from the Cocaheads group that meets in Colorado Springs, so I’d like to thank them publicly here. If you have a Cocoheads group near you, look them up, they’re a great resource.
Now it’s time to start working…
